TS3 Pets is the sixth expansion of TS3. As I already said in TS2 Pets, it is my favourite expansion and will always be. In case you didn’t read my Ts2 post, I adore pets in real life and also in The Sims. My every household has to have at least one pet. CAP had been improved a lot since the TS2, you can make your own breed of pet with any posible color and template. Also there are various of traits you can put your pet has but there are also added while Sims praise/scold them. Pets can only die from old age and can return as ghosts, blue or red. They can even have ghost babys. Pets can also reproduce and have puppys, kittens and foal. There are three types of pets that can do that; dogs, cats and horses. Horses have the most new things and actions. New building for horses is the equesterian centre where Sims can enter in different competitions and can breed there mare or offer stallion to breed. There is also a new town Appalosa plains with cute animal parks, and new buildings. Also you can walk your dog. I think this is a must-have expansion for every animal lover.
The Sims 3 Generations is the fourth expansion and it was released in 2011. At the beginning of this post I’ll tell you that I am not a huge fan of this expansion. It added some cool stuff but the game play is not so impressing. No new town. When I bought it it didn’t make any difference to me. The only thing that I like in this expansion is Imaginary friend. It is kinda cute, and the posibility to make him alive is even better. I adore new career that is daycare because I love children and I waited that. Also new parties. Bachlelor/Bachelorette party and prom, which can’t be seen but it is okay. And the thing I dislike the most is the boarding school. It is nice that children and teens can go and educate but in my opinion like I would think for my own child, I gave birth to him/her and then when they grow and become children I send them there and don’t see them for couple years. That is terrible. And I would never do that in my real life. I just do that in The Sims 3 when they bother me. 😀 Also a thousand new stuff that I never use.
In my opinion the stuff that is in this expansion should have been in the original game.
The Sims 3 Late Night is the third expansion of TS3 and was released in 2010. The new town is Bridgeport. Bridgeport has a big buildings and is filled with clubs and lounges. The new look of this town makes others just ugly. 😀 I like the new possibility to buy an apartment. Also there are a lot new interactions that I like. The new career is Film with two final branches, new instriments that sims can play; Bass, Piano and Violin. I especially like the new hairstyles and clothes that is a bit provocative, all mini skirts and shirts. I also like the gameplay and the new objects and community lots. But It is stupid that clubs close at 2am. It is just too early. And the most stupid thing I like this expansion is elevators. They are just so fancy xD but your sim can get stuck in it. In my opinion TS3 Late Night is deffinetly fun and worth having.
The Sims 3 Ambitions is the second expansion pack, and it was released in 2010. I like this expansion because of the new jobs and interactions. There are several new professions such as; Architect, Firefighter, Ghost hunter, Private investigator and stylist. I like it because you can acctualy go with them on a job and complete tasks. I especialy like the Investigator profession because I adore criminalistic shows. In each profession there are unique tasks to preform and by preforming it you advance on your job. Also a new thing is self-employment. You can self-employ in two new skills: Styling and Sculpting and also in several old skills. The new town is Twinbrook, some new buildings, but I don’t like this town it is kinda weird. Also a new lifetime wishes conected to new professions. The great addition to the game is tattoos. I love tattos and can’t wait to get one. In my opinion TS3 Ambitions is worth having. You’ll have a lot of fun completing all those tasks and also with new skills.
The Sims 3 World Adventures is the first expansion pack and it was released in 2009. When it came out honestly, I wasn’t impresssed and never bought it. I still haven’t played it, so I put it for installing so I’ll try my best for this post. I’ve read a lot on the internet and watched on youtube so I am looking forward to write about it. The main goal of this expansion pack is traveling. There are three new worlds; Al Shimara, Egypt, Champs Les Sims, France and Shang Simla, China. In Egypt are the best camera stores, the new skill is photography. Also in challenges are included mummies, which can put a deadly curse on sims. In France, making nectar is a new skill. Sims can make nectar for parties which gives positive moddlet to Sims. In challenges there are some special dungeons to explore. In China, Martial Arts are new skill, a lot things to collect and to explore. In each location you can visit, there is an adventure board outside the base camp.Adventures can be as simple as collecting a certain material and returning it to the quest giver, talking to some of the locals to convince them of another Sim’s opinion or as complex as doing some tomb raiding and exploring one of the expansion’s many dungeons. You’ll earn VISA points and ancient coins, as well as Simoleons from completing these tasks. Every Location has a general store where you can purchase supplies for adventuring. New items like dried food, the shower in a can and a variety of different quality tents make sleeping and surviving in a dungeon much easier to accomplish. After all, The Sims 3 World Adventures is fun. The main reason why I didn’t installed it is because I read that it slows down the game. I’ll try it out and let you know.
In this post I’ll write something like a tutorial for people who never created a sim or people who want to but don’t know all the details. So first enter The Sims 3. Pick a town and when it uploads click “create a sim.”
After that this openes;
First one is basics; you get to chose Sim’s name, last name, skin color, and also a sliders for thin-fat and muscles. Second circle is hairstyles. You get to chose from 22 different hairstyles for women and 17 for men. Also a great addition are colors. You get to chose from a big wheel of colors. And also eyebrows. Third wheel is looks. You can costumize your Sim from eyes to beard. And you have a great options and sliders are added for every part. Fourth circle is Clothes. You can chose; Everyday, formalwear, sleepwear and swimmwear. There are a lot of clothes and accessories. Also a new thing is a possibility to chose shoes for Sims.
Then fifth circle is personality. You chose traits from a large spectar, based on that you can chose a lifetime wish, and when completing it you get lifetime points, than you can chose favorite color, meal and genre of music, even your Sim’s voice. When you chose all of that you’re ready to play.
So finally The Sims 3. I’ve got so many things to say about this excellent game. First it has been my favorite and the best game ever since it got out. It was released in 2009. I couldn’t wait for it to come to my country so I can buy it. I convinced my mum for hundred years to buy it. Fortunately I have a big sister who loves The Sims so we bought it together. When we came home we opened it, and read that little book you get with it and later put it for installation. I remember the expetation and bitting our nails while we waited the installation proces. It took long time and we ran out of nails xD. When it finally installed we opened it. I loved it from the intro. I will have another post about CAS because there are a lot of new things and I want to write everything about it. I am happy that they added young adult as normal life age. We made our first Sim with not much skill, he looked like a zombie. Then we started playing in the town Sunset Valley. There are a lot of familes that can be chosen to play and to move to houshold. There are a lot of new skills; Logic, Cooking, Painting, Gardending, Writing, Guitar, Athletic,Handiness, Charisma and Fishing, new careers; Business, Culinary, Criminal, Joirnalism, Also a new was to die; old age, fire, starvation, drowning, electrocution. I remember the first time my Sim died I cryed. But later when I realised that they come as ghosts and that you can have baby ghosts I was killing Sims all the time :’).
Gameplay is much simpler that in TS2. Also the graphic is great. And what I adore is the map view and possibility to see the whole town. The Sims changed me because I would and still rather stay at home playing that go out. So play The Sims once and you won’t be able to stop.
Since The Sims 2 Apartment Life was the last expansion pack of The Sims 2, from the next post I will be talking about The Sims 3!! Yaaay!!! I won’t post anything about the stuff packs in The Sims 2 because they added few new things nothing to talk about it. I hope you enjoyed in my The Sims 2 posts and that you’ll enjoy in my The Sims 3 posts!!!
The Sims 2 Apartment Life was released in 2008. and it is the last expansion of TS2 Apartment Life. New Neighborhood is Belladona Cove. Parts of the town includes slummy urban area, middle class area and luxurous socialite area. I think it is the best town in TS2 because it has a lot of new stuff; trailer park, industrial area, lofty flats, luxurious mansions. The new additions are apartments. You can’t buy them bit rent them, building can have four families. Landlord is new life state and NPC who comes every week and picks up your rent. He/She also takes care of the roaches, tend garden, fix the plumbing, etc. Also you can search for roommates via computer, newspaper and phone, they are unplayable bit you have to have a good relationship with them. New life state is also a Witch. They can be good, bad and neutral, they can cast spells and do magic things. The cutest thing ever is the possibility that toddlers can huggle each other. That is the best and cutes thing ever. By that you can tell that I am not so impressed with TS2 Apartment Life. It is okay, I like the city and few more things but nothing special.
This expansion is a great addition to the original game. You can organize your free time with different activities, which is the main goal. The new activities are tossing ball with family, practicing ballet, restoring cars, build train sets, etc. Also there are new skills ; pottery and sewing. I like the new neighbourhood: Desiderata Valley with lots of new community lots such as; gallery, sport park, community kitchen, etc. With 10 new hobbies (cuisine, film and literature, games, tinkering, science, arts and crafts, fitness, nature, sports, Music and dance.) you can really have fun with your Sim. I like the new Oceanography career among Architectural, Dance, Entertainment, Inteligence and other. New life state is Genie who can grant three wishes to your Sim. At the end I think TS2 Free time is fun with all new activities and worth having.
